rumor has it that theres no such thing as a bricked ipod touch your wrong...

and if not, you just found the 1st bricked ipod touch...

i usually jailbreak and unlock iphones for ppl who are not computer friendly..

some guy brought me a 16gb 1st gen ipod touch...

the ipod turns on goes to the apple logo and then starts running a shyt load of commands...

goes on for ever... i tryed regular restore mode turning it on and holding the home key.. nothing.. goes right back to the command log..

tried DUF mode... nothing, right back to the command black screen white letters.. and its flooding the screen..

this is the 1st official bricked ipod touch...
i tried every way possible to get it to recognize with itunes, im just glad its not my ipod touch...

the guy tried to jailbreak it on his own im guessing redsn0w.. (failed)
im far from a noob.. i owned all ipod touches and iphones all gigs except the 3GS and i will confirm this is the 1st soft bricked ipod touch. Tell you friends

will post a pic or video soon.... this is crazy!
wtf did he do

he owned his ipod

well for starters the iPod is connected to a pc or mac so I'm suspicious about this video right away, that code is just a verbose bootup so I reckon they have tried to alter the boot for verbose f*cked up and claiming a bricked iPod....... there was no showing him trying to restore the iPod so as far as I'm concerend that video is a failed "bricked claim" show a video of trying to restore the iPod and it not being recognised in dfu or anything then I'll go with it's a cabbaged iPod

That's not a "bricked" iPod Touch. You can restore it under DFU. Attention to this video, just greatly enhances "his" ego.

That's verbose mode, I remember when I was stupid enough to apply it a long time ago, forgot how I fixed it though :p

I know I somehow fixed it though, so I know that device isn't bricked

Sir, this is no "World Premier".
This is not called a "soft brick".
Bricked iPhones cannot be restored, they are a paperweight.
I've owned 4 iPod Touches, this has happened to one of them.
It's not hard to fix, just google it.

Wow, well he tried youtube, websites, and even put it into DUF mode... he tried everything :p

This guy's an idiot.

I thought it was!

Yea, it's DFU mode lol.
