Hi On my 42mm Sports Apple Watch.

I have three time set.

1. Local Time

2. UTC

3. Home Time

With UTC Time it always shows Yesterday irrespective of time.

I just put the information you provided into a time converter and this is the result (assuming you are in Hong Kong, and its 8AM)

Hong Kong (Hong Kong) Monday, July 20, 2015 at 8:00:00 AM HKT UTC+8 hours
UTC (Time Zone) Midnight between Sunday, July 19, 2015 and Monday, July 20, 2015 UTC

So technically it IS "yesterday" because it Sunday in UTC at 8am LT to hong Kong.

??? My understanding is that once past 2359, UTC is also Monday. Also, his example is not right at 0000 that confusing time zone, but 0036, which is definitely on the next day.

There is no way 0836 (UTC+8) and Monday in local time, but still 0036 (UTC+0) and Sunday in UTC time.

May be it's the way how it present the time and date in Apple watch. I did't use that function, I only display the UTC time at the small window. But even though it's correct, I will say it's a confusing way to present it.

If I go to World Clock on the Watch or iPhone it shows today.
Only on the watch it's Yesterday through out 24 Hrs.
Thanks for the information.
