I guess the cost derives from the metal elements being made out of gold. What throws me off about it is the handle. I think it would look nicer without one. That being said, I like the look of the rest of it. I might be interested if the gold is swapped out and the handle is omitted or optional. Maybe $300 range given the quality of the leather and workmanship.
