The article refers to the Guinness Book of Recrods. In case you were wondering, no, that is NOT the Guinness record for number of typos in a news article.

When I was a kid, I went up to Niagra Falls here in NY.

There was a Ripley's believe or not museum or possibly a Guiness book of Records museum there (On the Canadian side?)

We were doing the tourist thing and they had a similar event there. It was like freak show night from what I remember. Bearded ladies, wolf man, etc.

Don't ask me what the point of that story was though

I remember that one of the Ripley's Believe It or Not museums had a photo or drawing on the wall showing the world's shortest and tallest men. You could stand against it and compare. Maybe it was the one at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.
