I just got a used iBook from eBay. Works fine -- except the trackpad has a big, ol' worn spot. Was the previous owner wearing sandpaper gloves -- who knows?

Anyway, it makes the trackpad less responsive when moving through that area. Does anyone have any low-cost suggestions for restoring the sensitivity to that spot? I'd like to have "bring it in to an Apple Store to have them replace it" as a last resort.

Thanks for any help ya'll can offer.
