Just wondered if anyone else is worried about battery life if they have upgrades to a 3.

I spend many hours on the train with iPad 2 easy 8 hours constant 3G use.

My first train journey with the 3 I left home at 7am by 1 battery was flat!

Any comments?

I got the new iPad home at around 9:00AM on the Friday launch day, slept a couple hours and then gave it pretty good use Friday afternoon and evening, through Saturday and halfway through Sunday before needing to charge it.

I'd say it looks on par with or very close to the same battery life as the iPad 2.

I haven't had any issues with battery life and have used quite a bit.

I do keep screen brightness at about 50 to 60%.

For me I think the bigger issue is the time it takes to charge it. I had it down to about 6% and it took about 10 hours for a full charge. I'm sure someone will come out with a charger that is more powerful or some kind of quick charger.

Wirelessly posted (Element)

I watched an entire movie over LTE. Read for two hours x five days. Downloaded six Walking Dead 1.2GB episodes and watched two 1080p to my TV. 10% remains.

I'm in a unique position.

The house I bought, the car I drive, the office I work in, and the Starbucks I frequent, all have A/C outlets.

My iPad came with a power cord, therefore I never worry... :D
