Worried about new Macbook Air

Hi,

I dont know if I am worrying over nothing, but I haven't had any experience dealing with Apple Online.

I placed an order on July 24 for a new MacBook air. Paid on my Credit Card. All approved, due to arrive August 4th. Fast forward to today and I got a text to say my order may be up to 2 business days late. Thats fine, no big deal. HOWEVER I just went into my banking app and the money is back in my account, with no record of me paying it or Apple putting it back....I'm now extremely confused & worried about this....

Anyone have similar issues or any advice?

At the time of order Apple will place an authorization hold on funds, but they typically don't actually make the charge until it ships. The authorization hold can fall off in as little as a few days. This is likely what's happened and is nothing to worry about.
