Then I won't be able to cancel while I'm in line at the Apple store and get one sooner then my expected 10/1-6 delivery.

I'm trying to rationalize waiting until then, with everyone telling me I'm crazy for staying up all night, but I don't think I can wait! I was better about waiting a week ago, but its getting worse at Friday approaches, Apple loves me for sure.

If you're using an upgrade eligibility, it will take a little while after order cancellation for it to be eligible again. It's not instantaneous, at least for AT&T.

Its for the Apple store with AT&T Next upgrade option, I've heard that only takes about 15 minutes to an hour, or maybe the store can force that once I'm getting the phone. Otherwise, I'll have to add another line I think.
