Worse reception with 5S?

I had a Verizon iPhone 5. Bought a Verizon 5S. Same plan, same everything.

In the same locations the 5S displays 1-2 fewer "bars" than the 5. Can't tell if this is just a difference in the indicator or if call quality / bandwidth affected too, since the 5 no longer has a plan.

Anyone seen anything similar?
