Sad. And I know the stock photographer who took that top photo. Sucks to see your work being used in tacky advertising.

This is Spirit Airlines, the same company that had a Hunt for Jimmy Hoffa Sale, a MILF sale, and a Muff Diving sale. They do ads like these so they go viral and get free advertising all over the internet. It's genius, really.

I agree.

Now, for some of the BEST advertising ever.

Meh people need to lighten up. I can see the humor.

I get where they're going with it. But this is truly a huge tragedy - people lost their lives, their livelihoods, and of course, the environmental impact. I just think it's in poor taste. My $.02.

The Durex ones, on the other and, are HILARIOUS.

Yeah. He was probably expecting that to be used for some intellectual, humanitarian cause.

Heh, my mind was focused on the word "beaches" as an alternate word some use for women. I wasn't thinking of the oil spill.

anyone else in South Florida? have you noticed it more crowded due to the florida panhandle basically a dead zone? I have noticed a slight uptick, but its hard to really make any overall conclusions.

I'm in Panama City Beach right now, and it's far from "dead". Oh sure, it's not shoulder-to-shoulder, but it's definitely not a ghost town. Then again, PCB hasn't been hit really hard by the Tarball Brigade yet.
