I've used Apple computers for some time and the IOS devices since the beginning.

The upgrade to IOS 6 has been the worst experience with Apple upgrades EVER.

I have an iPhone 4 (waiting for 5 to be delivered) and the latest IPAD,

In both cases the upgrade got stuck at the last reboot - when the white progress bar is shown - with about 10% to go.

This was not a case of impatience as I left them both overnight to complete.

Going into DFU mode and trying a restore from a prior backup resulted in the same thing.

The only way out was to set up the devices as new and start over.

Crazy!

I like IOS 6 but the upgrade experience sucked.

And on balance my 4s updated in just under 40 minutes with no data list and all my apps where they belonged.

It's seems to be a right mis match of users having the experiences we both have had !

I hope you are now set.

Relax...you haven't seen yet the real problem on iPhone 4..BATTERY LIFE :(

I'm happy for you, but in my case it's terrible. My iPhone 4 with iOS 6 drains like a jailbreaked iPhone with tons of tweaks and daemons.
