Hi
I have a 2.7ghz G5 Powermac with 3gb of ram (2x512 and 2x1gb) installed at the moment and I'm consider getting another 2gb.
This is basically because I do a lot of complex Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop work and I'm seeing illustrator get sluggish when the memory is low :/
Do you think it is worth getting the PC4000 Ballistix RAM instead of the standard Crucial PC3200 ? Anyone seen a speed increase with Ballistix ?
Also is there any benefit in reordering the memory so the 512mb chips are in the last slots - so used last.
Thanks
David
