hello new to mac, but interested in buying the 2.4 ghz aluminum macbook on macmall. my question is it a good deal and does it come with the 1 year warranty?

Refurbs are new. They might have few finger prints and comes in brown box instead of original white one, but as Jack Flash said, you'll get Apple customer support. Yes both comes with 1 year warranty

Be careful, MacMall's customer service has a bad reputation, and their return policy is terrible (read as "non-existent").

You don't necessarily have to go to Apple, but unless you're certain about what you want and don't mind having to (potentially) jump through a bunch of hoops, you may want to avoid MacMall.
