worth replacing keyboard myself?

Over December, my 2009 Macbook had a little water spillage. Now, the tab and tilde key do not work, and it's a pain to use whenever I need to write a paper (I'm in college). I saw on ifixit that they have a replacement keyboard and a guide on how to: Has anyone done this? Is it easy enough to do by yourself? Or is it worth dishing out an extra 150 to get it replaced by a professional?

Easy

I actually had a chip in the top left corner of the keyboard(don't like the plastic Macs) and changed it out easily! I don't know what your skill level is but it is really not that difficult. I had a black Macbook and got a white keyboard for $40. Looks kinda cool mixed up! Good Luck!

Depends on how comfortable you are with repairing your things. If you feel like changing out the keyboard yourself will fix the problem and your comfortable doing it yourself, then go ahead
