worth upgrading from 2007 blackbook?

i was gonna get the 13 inch mbp but i was wondering if its worth upgrading from a mid 2007 blackbook with the following specs:
2.0ghz core 2 duo
1 gb 667 ram
intel gma 950
120 gb
(this also has a broken key on the keyboard and little hd space left)

for the following:
2.4 ghz core 2 duo
4 gb 1066 ram
geforce 320m
500 gb
+ 10 hour battery, illuminated keyboard, multitouch trackpad, snow leopard, etc
which would come out to 1400 with applecare and a student discount

think its worth it or should i wait

Depends what use you want get out of it, what do you use your laptop for, are you finding it an unenjoyable experience?

wait for the ipod deal, get the ipod and sell it, the laptop will probably end up costing you 1200 ish

the delete key is broken and i have very little hd space left

its very hard to write papers with a broken delete key

External keyboard could help you hold out until the free ipod deal. I'd wait too, just to make sure I get my money's worth.
