Worth upgrading to Series 4 from SS Series 3?

I currently own the Series 3 SS Space Black and wanting the Series 4 but wonder if it’s worth upgrading to it from this watch. Just want to see what others think. Or even to just get the Aluminum instead of Stainless to save on money.
 
I love the series 4. Now I came from a silver aluminum series 3 with cellular and I got a silver aluminum series 4 With cellular.

I, personally, think it is a fabulous upgrade, but I didn’t have stainless prior to upgrading.

I HAVE had stainless in the past - series 2 - but not my 3.

The biggest reason I got the stainless steel model is because of the sapphire front glass. Just trying to figure out if it’s worth the $200 markup. $750 with apple care plus is a lot. I currently own the series 3 SS and been trying to figure out what to do.
 
I upgraded from 42mm series 3 SS to the series 4 aluminum 44mm and the change was amazing! The size of the display and number of complications available make a huge difference. VERY happy with my decision to upgrade this year. I wish I could have justified the SS upcharge but I’ll just invest in additional protection for this one.
 
My wife got the 40 and my 44 will arrive in a few weeks. I have the series 3 for now. Her 40 is way faster than my 42. It is very noticeable.

Should I invest into the stainless steel series 4 or just get the aluminum? Coming from a stainless steel series 3...
 
yes well worth it

bigger screen and it is super smooth loading apps and going through the watch.

Depends how much the look matters? I think Aluminium makes the most sense. Does the same job as SS for a lot cheaper price.

I had space black ss series 3 and got the 44 space black and holy crap it was worth it. The screen is amazing and it’s quite a bit thinner than the series 3.

Im from SS S3 too...
I couldnt justify Singapore $620 top up from my SS S3 [including applecare+]

I settled for 44mm gps space grey model with applecare + too..
I dont use LTE that will be additional cost for me.....

I have pending order for gold SS 44mm but i might cancel if im happy with this gps model....

I was able to sell my SS S3 at sing $580...
SS gold 44mm sport band here with applecare + is Sing$1203

Gps model 44mm with applecare cost me
Sing$ 773 .

I saved Sing$430....

Im loving the big screen...i always appreciate the lightness of aluminum model.
Since GPS model now comes with full ceramic back this can avoid corrosion in the future....
