Okay, so I'm planning on buying my first Mac soon! I just need to get that new job. >.< Any who, I was wondering, should I buy the "High-End" Model of the Macbook or "Low-End" Model of the Macbook Pro? I would of course attach it to a external monitor at home.

Uses:
1. Web Browsing
2. Word Processing
3. Music Creation (Finale and Live 7)
4. Graphical Design (Photoshop CS3 or CS4)
5. Web Design
6. Few Games (all the games I would want to play would work on Macbook)
7. Little Video Editing

I would buy the new models, and the external monitor display would be 22"

Please Halp!

If your playing games you should probably go with the MBP, discrete grpahics will also help out with graphical desgin Plus their more future proof, you get more screen real estate, firewire, etc. If you wana save some cash though check out the refurb previous gen MBP @ $1349 on the apple store, their a great deal.

OH Woah

Hopefully the OLD MBP is still there in the referbish store when I have enough money. Owo

Go with the macbook. All the games work on the macbook and unless you want the best gaming experience, go for a macbook instead. its more than able to pump out the fps. and the high end is a small package with many features packed in. you save money as well.
