iPhone Would a Retina Version of the iPhone 2G Theme be Successful?

Going all the way back to the summer of 2007 when the iPhone2G was released with 1.0 firmware.
The ICONS and the overall UI was changed over the years, but in looking back, wonder if a retina version of this original stock theme would work on the iPhone5?

i wanted the same thing months ago, i will be opening photoshop and remaking the good ol' icons and dock.
