I've had my iPhone x since launch and have one more month left to my AppleCare plus. It started acting up and I called apple and it was suggested I just opt for a new one instead of getting it repaired. I chose to do this as my phone is 2 years old. I was also told I could sign up for AppleCare once it expires at the end of the month but just saw the price. YIKES!

So here is my question. Since this is a replacement but a new phone, not a refurbished. Does it have a one year warranty like most new phones or not?

If they replace your X it won’t be a new phone it will be refurbished to “like new” condition... As far as the warranty, 90 days is what is listed unless your AppleCare+ lasts longer than that

Wonder why I was told it would be a brand new one. Well.....it looks new. My monthly payments were just $49 a month all these months. When I saw the cost of the re-upped AppleCare. I will just hope nothing happens and if it does I will just buy a new one. Goodness!

You could always sell the replacement phone and use the money towards a new phone. People looking for an older phone like shiny new replacement phones and it will have a new battery which is another good selling point..
