It's been awhile since I redesigned my site, but I finally got it done earlier this week. It's a Wordpress theme I built from the ground up (I'm calling it Chocolate), using a static home page. My goal was to do something very different from the designs I normally create, and to keep the superfluous visual elements -- shine, dropshadow, etc -- to a minimum. I wanted to work with a color palette I hadn't used before, and I wanted the typography to be a strong part of the design, rather than an afterthought (this, I think, is often overlooked).

The specific post where I talk about the redesign is here.
Things I'm still planning on doing are cleaning up and cutting down on the blog categories -- I want to get it down to just 5 or 6 categories. The massive list I have now is leftover from before Wordpress supported post tags. I also intend on designing custom templates for more of my special pages; I've already done one for my bPhone BlackBerry theme page.
I would appreciate your constructive feedback so I can decide what to focus on when I start working on some enhancements. Thanks!
