Would getting a Apple Airport Extreme Base Station A1034 be too old for iprinters, macbook pro, mac pro, or iphone 4? It would still be compatible right? and would it be slow?

It'd still work. It may be a bit slower for somethings or have a lesser range. But it will work for its intended purpose.
