My mac charger has a nick in the wire, small but big enough to cause it to not charge anymore .Im still under warranty but unsure if what happened to the charger fits under warranty? Ive been using an old one from my old Mac.
If Apple determines the adapter is defective, yes. If they determine it's damage or wear, no. There are some Apple employees who might bend the rules, but the warranty does not cover wear or damage due to accidents. My mac charger has a nick in the wire, small but big enough to cause it to not charge anymore .Im still under warranty but unsure if what happened to the charger fits under warranty? Recently the cord on one of my chargers had a tear and I took it to an apple store and they replaced it without any hassle. I noticed that your location is NYC, which has half a dozen Apple stores. So, if I were you and an employee at the first Apple store that I went to said that they would not replace it, I would just go and try at another one.

Really worth it for the sake of £50?
