Would I see big upgrade on MBP basic compared to this iMac

Would I see big upgrade on MBP basic spec (2019 version) compared to a late 2012 iMac?

Obviously there is years between, but just wondering in general day to day use would I actually see benefits?

I’m not sure for example the Graphic card would match up. The iMac having a dedicated Nvidia Geforce 640M in compared to Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645.

I know CPU speed can reflect changes in generations, so iMac is i5 2.7GHz 3rd gen, MBP is 1.4GHz 8th gen. got do these compare?

I know benchmark test limits but I’m talking general day to day “real life” usage.
