Would I still have a 1 year warranty?

Probably a stupid question but I just bought an iPad (classic,1st gen) whatever you wanna call it from a private party and the iPad was purchased 3 months ago. Wondering if I will have the remaining 9 months of warranty on the iPad once I receive it? Can anyone answer this?! Thank you.

Yep you will. Check Apples support site though to make the warranty date is correct.

Where do I look into this? I looked up warranty on the apple website in support and it was talking about the ORIGINAL end user.

Warranty is for 12 months from the original date of sale from authorised iPad seller (Apple Store, department store, Apple Reseller etc.).

If you bought it from somebody it's 12 months from when that person purchased it from a store.

Ok thank you. I didnt want apple to say hey you dont have a receipt nor are you the original purchaser so your outta luck. That would kinda suck if that would happen. Thanks again!
