I'm considering buying an XtremeMac MicroMemo accessory as opposed to a standalone voice recorder from Olympia. But I'm afraid that if I buy an iPhone or a future iPod (like the rumored Widescreen Video iPod), the accessory will not work with/fit the new iPod. Anyone have any guesses?

iPod Would iPod video MicroMemo accessory work with iPhone, future iPod?

It's anyone's guess for now. I don't know whether or not the iPhone will have audio recording capabilities - probably. I'm sure if they're going with the same pin connectors on the iPhone as the current iPod that they will probably keep that as a standard on the "true video iPod."
