Would less then 2GB of space left on a 60gb drive cause an ibook NOT to boot??

I know I only had about less then 2GB of space left on my computer and now it won't boot up.

I have tried to do everything, resetRAM, reset-nvram, unhooked all power for a day, removed a faulty airport card "1.33 9/2005", and still nothing at all.
