Hi,

I really want to get Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium for $399 using the education discount, and am hoping you can help.

We're happy with the computers that we have now, so I don't really need a new machine, but understand that I have to get one. It will probably be the lowest end macbook, just so I can get the ipod, printer, etc.

Here are my questions:

1. Will the Creative Suite come in cd's or are they downloads?2
2. Is this a good time to get CS3 or should I wait for CS4?
3. Is this a good time to buy the computer/ipod/printer, or should I wait toward the end of the summer?

Thanks for your help!

1) Creative suite will come in 2 DVD's I believe
2) If you're going to get a low end macbook, the I would get CS3, chances are it won't run CS4 well at all.
3) If you can wait, wait, if you can't then buy. Always remember, no matter when you buy, within less than a year, you're not going to have the latest model anymore.

Hi,

I'm not too sure that I would be keeping the macbook (I know there are supposed rules and all). I'm actually happy with our little setup, so until there is a major case redesign, I just can't imagine upgrading right now.

The main thing is the software - is CS4 right around the corner?

Thanks!
