I enjoyed the enthusiasm during the Mac Mini 2018 reveal. To be honest, I was genuinely excited to hear about the return of upgradeable RAM (64GB worth!), and 6-core processors. The entry level price sorta deflated the excitement, but I guess for base specs including 8GB of RAM, an SSD, and 4-core processors, it was OK.
I really am hoping for something good with the 7,1 Mac Pro. Not even groundbreaking... just bringing back user upgradeability with Apple's blessing (no added drivers necessary, etc) and a nice looking case with adequate cooling would make me happy. Hoping the entry level price won't be more than $5000, otherwise it's a pipe dream for me.
