Hey Gang,

Scholarship implies reading a lot of PDFs (articles, books, scanned archives...)

One app I really love on MacOs is Skim: a pdf reader, that lets you highlight, take notes but above all that allows you to EXPORT thos highlights and notes as a Text document that you can feed into your writing software (I use Scrivener). One fundamental feature is that Skim keeps the page number of the highlights making it easier later to quote. Papers doesn't offer such features yet it's on the Ipad...
Reading at a table behing a computer is fine, but I'd love to be able to that on the go too.
Until now I've resisted buying an Ipad because there was not such an app as Skim. Or is there?I've been reading a lot on various apps but failed to find a good match.
I mean do any of you know of a PDF reader on the Ipad that'd let me highlights and take notes AND export them as a text file?

Thanks
