Would new games wrk on the base MBP?

Would new games like Empire total war or DOW 2 run well under bootcamp in the base model of the MBP or should upgrade to a higher model? I don't really have the money to jump up and get a more expensive model of a mbp. My other option would be to get an HP for $50, but I'd rather have the mac.

They'll run well enough, I threw The Sims 3 and Left 4 Dead at a Mac Mini I have (with the 9400 GPU) and it ran them well enough.

If you don't mind not having the best possible graphics then you'll be fine.
