Would the 13" MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM upgrade be as powerful as the 2019 15" MacBook Pro base model?

2.6 GHz 6-core i7 v.s. the M1 8-core

Graphics wise, we've got dedicated vs non-dedicated(?)

I'm trying to figure out how they stack up against each other, and if I should upgrade or not.

I don’t have comparison figures but given that you have the M1 Air already and are disappointed with it, I wouldn’t get my hopes up and wait for the successor to your bigger MBP.
