Would the airport extreme be an upgrade for me?

I currently have the dlink 655 router

Im thinking of dumping it for the airport extreme, is this going to be an upgrade or downgrade if i do this

I like the dual wifi connection & guest network plus usb port of the airport extreme

If the D-Link is working properly and doing what you need, no reason to replace it -- yet.

Having said that, after years of using routers other than the Airport, my sister was given an Airport Extreme and I was VERY impressed at its ease-of-setup and use.

If I need another wireless router, I'll spend the extra $$$ for the Airport Extreme.

HOWEVER -- I won't buy a brand new one. From time to time, Apple has them available as refurbs for $20-30 less. A good page to check is:
