Would the iPhone 6 be much of an upgrade from 5C?

I have a 5C, Its served me well enough, I am due an upgrade, my operator has made me an offer of a free iPhone 6 and a decent tariff at, the 6S works out very expensive all around. Would the 6 be much of an upgrade. I can have the iPhone 6 or the Galaxy S6 both free on the same tariff. What would you do?

Yes it is a huge difference I found. Much smoother and the bigger screen was easier for me to use.

Well went for the iPhone 6. Might just be the new battery or that I have been playing with it but battery life doesn't seem that good. Hoping this improves.

Battery life is usually pretty bad initially and will get better after a day or two.

how could you judge the battery life in just two days ?
battery life on the iPhone 6 is definitely better than iPhone 5C.
