Would This Be Harmful to A MB or MBP?

Found this on the "tuaw.com" site concerning making a Power-Book and EReader. Would this not be adverse on a MBP or for that matter any computer. Thought I would ask since it seems like a great and simple idea!

I wouldn't see why it would be harmful...

However, be careful, because if you are playing with a $3500 machine like myself, there are always cases of "I accidentally dropped my laptop on the ground trying to read a pdf sideways."

The case, hardware, and screen shouldn't really be too much to worry about, but don't go throwing your mac around =/ I'm wondering if your mbp's built in "shock" sensor would trigger though, something I have yet to find out.

If you carefully place the MBP/MB sideways it's all fine. The censor shouldn't be affected.
