Ok in the Mac lab that we have at school that I work on and all that there are certain computers that when you reimage the settings don't stay, for example, the desktop background is supposed to change to a medium gray (design gray) and it doesn't on like 3 computers, I try running the application that does it and NOTHING! I can do it on the rest of the 20 machines we have in there and it works fine. Would zeroing out the data help to reduce problems like this, such as a hard drive data parity or that? I'm creating a brand new fresh image to remove kinks, I zeroed the HDD and I'm hoping that will fix a lot of our problems. The rest of the computers will be zeroed out as well. (1 time pass)
EDIT: also the fresh install instead of the OS 10.3.9 upgrade then make and distribute image.
