Hi everyone,

I have a Macbook pro 2012 13 2.5ghz core i 5 with 4 gb of ram.

Previously i had a samsung laptop with 8gb of ram and i took out the ram and it seems to be the same specs so i would like to put this ram in my macbook.

Questions is : will it work ?

Should i try it ? Does a non compatible memory can cause damage to my computer ?

If you go on the crucial website and select my samsung laptop , it will give you the same memory upgrades options (same specs) as for my macbook. So just to want to make sure.

Anyway, here is a photo of the ram i'd like to put in ! http://postimg.org/image/9ns5ktsln/

Thanks guys !

RAM is RAM, so long as it has the correct specs and timing it'll work.

The worst that can happen is that your computer will refuse to boot until you put the original RAM back in.
