would upgrading my mbp 13 inch ram help gameplay?

im just wondering if this would help me out because i play call of duty online on my macbook pro and i wanted to upgrade it to 4gb of ram

although I have not done it myself I would say yes because the graphics ram is taken from the main ram so if you have more ram it should run more smoothly.
