Nope! I waited for one that did what I needed it to do and will be enjoying it for a long time no matter what comes in the next year or two. 
why would i be angry, if and when the nano version comes out, it won't be able to do what the iphone 3g does, it's a different device. i'm more than happy with the iphone.
Seriously, who cares? That's just what Apple does. Every 6-12 months, they release a newer, better product. Find me a company that doesn't. I'll keep my 3G till something I like better comes along, and I have the money to spend, and I can justify buying it. If it offers something new and different, I might buy it. If they come out with a 32GB model, who cares, I have my 30GB iPod

I can't imagine going smaller (screen-wise) than the 3G, and anyway, I'm still in the honeymoon phase with my iPhone.
I strongly think it will be at least a year before Apple replaces the 3G with something better, I could be wrong.

I never understood how people could believe there would be an iPhone Nano.
Who the hell wants to have a phone that the screen is so tiny, and you can't use internet or anything productive.
It won't happen, and NEVER will happen.
As for a new iPhone version, not until next year. I expect yearly iPhone updates. They could introduce more colors and a larger HD, but that is it.

I decided to wait till September because of some quality issues in iPhone and rumor or new iPod touch... but I am becoming really impatient.
Well the longer you wait it only brings you closer to the time no matter what you buy will be obsolete.
That's technology. I buy something today and 31 days later a newer model comes out. All that matters is that I'm satisfied and if I'm not, I'm buying the upgraded model.

I work with technology and at our company we always say something is out of date as soon as it is released. I got my 16GB and paid for it by selling my 1st gen. Sure I had to resign my contract but I was going to do it anyway.

No. Products are constantly updated and new ones come out. I'm happy with what I have and it's good enough for me.
Even though I don't have an iPhone, I would not be angry, as Apple would not announce an upgraded version this quickly after the 3G, and I would want the full screen size of the current one, so I would not want the nano (even though I do not see that happening either).
umm.. what about all those people who got made when they upgrade to 3G - the ones who DIDNt know ahead of time.. and thepeopel who got angry when the dropped the price.
