Would you buy a demo monitor?

I was wanting to get the 32" sharp tv for my mac mini monitor but they don't make the one I want anymore but one place has one left at 15% off. The catch is it was the display model.

Would you buy this? I was thinking there were many problems with a monitor being on for all that time, maybe been a display all year. Seems like alot of on time.

1 year standard. Remote is really banged up and no box.

I'd say no, generally speaking. If it was a TV then I'd say definitely, but if you get a monitor, it's probably been poked, rattled and generally abused in ways you probably don't want more than you think.

Eat the extra 15% and get yourself a nice brand-spanking new monitor, you'll be glad you did.
