iPad Would you buy it?

Hey!

I was just offered an iPad 4 32GB for $140, the only catch is it has the engraving on the back removed with a Dremel. It has a very shallow cut in the back but it's noticeable and will definitely hurt the resale value.

Let me know your thoughts, would you or would you not buy it? and why?

That's a little suspicious. Have you checked the serial number and called Apple to ensure it's not stolen? Also is it the Wi-Fi only model?

I work for the company that is offering it, i'm positive it's not stolen and it is only the wifi model

If the screen is flawless, $140 is a decent buy and I would get it, if you needed it.

Sure, I'd buy it. If the marks on the back bother you too much just put it in a case so you can't see them! I wouldn't worry about resale value on an iPad 4 at this point.
