Would you buy an iPod touch if you already have an iPhone?

I have an iPhone 3G and I bought from an official carrier so I still have warranty, I am not jailbreaking mine and I know that I can restore if something goes wrong but I am keeping mine fresh.

So I was thinking if I should get an iPod touch for jailbreak purpose. Help on advice?

If you want something to mess around with and have the money, why not?

As for jailbreaking, there is no "harm" or anything, the worst that could happen is for it to take a lot of time if you mess up or something, which is the reason I stopped jailbreaking. Just too much time, and plus, you get really addicted to the customizations and it doesn't stop.

Put it this way (jailbreakng) if you mess up your iPhone, your without a phone until you fix it. You mess up your iPod touch, no harm done..

+1 to the comments above. If you need more storage you can always get the 32GB iPod touch to go along with your iPhone 3G.
