This would be by far the biggest selling point for me. Im sick of these afterthought useless LED flashes. The 4S camera IMO is only good during the day where flash is not needed.

I was a big fan of the Sony Ericsson camera phones back in the day due to the many models they had with xenon flashes. Photos in low light conditions always turned out great, especially in nightclubs.

Do you think this might be a possibility in future iPhones?

Would a xenon flash be difficult to integrate into the shell of the iphone?

Apple won't do that. Its too expensive, and it needs more room. A xenon needs an LED with it because xenon can't be on all the time so an LED is needed to focus. And for a phone constant on for a flashlight is very important. More importantly the iPhone was made for taking pics up close, the current LED is already powerful enough to wash out a macro pic, xenon is almost useless now.

With current ccd and cmos tech we are pushing the boundaries of night shots...
