Would you make this trade...

I'm being offered a stock '09 2.66 Quad for $600 plus my '06 2.66 Quad w/ 4GB RAM (but otherwise stock).

At first I thought it might be a decent deal, but then I read the low end MP is capped at 8GB (not that I'll load it up that much but it surely will affect resale value when I'm ready to unload). I'm not sure I'm going to get an appreciable speed increase either, even though the Nehalem @ 2.66 is faster than Woodcrest @ 2.66. Thoughts?

Edit: Sorry. Just noticed I put this in the MacBook Pro section, not the Mac Pro. I should have had my coffee before I posted.

I would and I think not sure that the 09 quad can go up to 16gigs 4x4gigs ram sticks. They only list 8 gigs on the customize screen.
