Would you pay extra to choose the particular lens options for your phone?

Much like how you can cusotmise storage at the time of purchase, would you pay extra for the ability to have (for example:
- 8x telephoto
- 3x telephoto
- normal

Thus getting rid of the ultra wide if you never use it.

Would this level of customisation be useful?
 
Apple are unlikely to start making so many different camera modules, so it'd be software limited.

It'll be the first step (of just two steps 😁 ) to charging a subscription to use the camera.
 
Many people use the UW lens for interior shots and macro.

Why would you have two telephoto lenses? Especially if the main camera already does 2x due to 48MP?

Telephoto is probably the least used, so it makes sense only Pro models get it.

I never use UW. I'd have two telephoto lenses for the different optical zoom levels, especially if the 17 Pro does end up having 8x as I won't always want that zoom level.
