Let's say your new iPhone has slight defect such as yellow tint or light bleed, would you return it and go for a replacement ?

Or will you just deal with it and keep the phone for some reasons ?

If 1/2 screen is yellow and other half, I would definitely return. But if it was the entire screen, probably not worth it. But if it's sever enough that it bugs you then you can return it and get a new one.

I would return it. New items shouldn't be defective.

I'm worried about whether I can get my phone back before our family vacation on the 14th. Gah.

I'd return it. If you notice it enough, and it bothers you enough to post in a forum about it, I think that is indicative of the answer.

I always had problems with yellow tint. When I bought my iPad Air I couldn t stop noticing the yellow tint in the right side, it would drive me crazy, but I decided that after so many iPad 3 replacements without any good results, I d keep my Air.

Oh well, it has been a year and now I can t find any uniformity issies no matter how hard I look, really, my screen is perfect.

Today I got my iPhone 6 Plus. No bleeding, nice screen with bottom 1/3 slightly warmer then the rest. Am I going to replace it? No. I am positive that eventually I m not going to notice anything, 50% of the problem is in our head, once it gets older we are done with it.

iMac - bottom 1/3 warmer
Macbook Pro - right 1/3 warmer
iPad 3 - (4 replacements) all had one side warmer
iPhone 5s - top 1/4 warmer
iPad Air - right 1/3 warmer

Trust me, it might get better eventually, or you might stop noticing as much. I used to replace each of my apple devices 2 or 3 times. It will get better. Chances are the replacement might be worse and you end up regreting. So judge the one you have not expecting perfect uniformity before replacing it.

Thanks, I think I am going to sell this one and purchase a new one.

Replacement will take some time and I need to use my phone for our trip.

Return it - I'm going to live with it for two years, so I better love it.

Considering the high price and the way Apple hyped the product, returning it is a very good choice.

Why would you not return it to get one in good condition? Return the phone and get the product you wanted, one without any issues
