I've got a 64 gig wifi 4 that is in perfect condition and works perfectly. It's got a great battery, great screen, no issues. Love it.

I have an opportunity to get into a 64 gig iPad Air wifi for only $160 out of pocket.

For that price, would you upgrade?

Hell no

I would not have agreed with this until this morning, when I brought my Air home. Coming from a 4, the Air feels very cheap and, to me at least, doesn't represent much of a weight difference. I say keep your 4.

My biggest concern is the dreaded Apple quality control lottery, especially when the one I have is like a one in a million perfect one…if I knew I could go to the store and get a perfect one on the first try I'd probably have already done it, but I don't really want to get into the return cycle that seems to plague every Apple release.

Since I did I voted yes. Too early to say it was a good decision, but so far I love it. I actual hold it when using it, as opposed to keeping it in a stand next to me all the time.

The number of threads popping up regarding QA/QC issues on the Air really make me rethink; I think I will go to the Apple store bright and early and check them out, see if the display models have bad display issues and see how plasticky the screen feels.
