Just wondering if you guys had the opportunity would you guys get the SS Sport band.

I meant would you upgrade to the SS version? I have the opportunity to upgrade, but like the SG colour though, thats whats bugging me.

Stainless steel offers a more elegant look and you have insane scratch protection form the sapphire. I prefer the stainless over the sport but there are certainly advantages to both.

Absolutely..you can do so much more with the SS. The biggest thing being the different bands you can wear. Not so much with the other.

Apple offered me 150$ item from the store, I can just upgrade my Sport to SS.

Oh. Does the credit have to be used or can you use it a year from now? If you can use it later I'd save it. But if it has to be spent now then why not.

I'm confused; what in your link do you think demonstrates that the sport band is different for the SS watch? Because, and I could be wrong, but I think you're mistaken.

EDIT: Oh, is it the color? Who cares?

Ye I guess, but black looks kinda sleeker?

But do you guys think SS is more noticeable?

One uses aluminum, one uses stainless steel for the pin in the band.

Black Sport does look nice, but the SS is, without a doubt, more noticeable.

It has a sheen to it that is a sight to behold, and as others have said, it goes well with any other band. The Sport Space Grey model doesn't go well with some of the bands (Milanese for example).

I originally bought the SG Sport and changed my order to the SS with Sport band (black) and I'm absolutely glad I did.

SS is easier to match with clothing too and it's more like a fashion accessory. I find the Sport SG model to be more of a typical smart watch, it's a bit geeky looking. This coming from someone who owns quite a few nice watches.

Apple said they are emailing a coupon/voucher so I'm hoping they will let me use it on the watch.

I would upgrade to the ss if you can use the voucher. If you scratch the ss, you can buff it out. It looks better with all of the bands available. It has the sapphire crystal, which is more resistant to scratches. I bought the ss white sport band and I love it. I can't say for certainty, if I could only have afforded the sport, if I would have loved the look at much. In my (yes, I know, very subjective) opinion, I think the ss looks 100x better than the aluminum. Just my 2 cents. Either way, enjoy!

Im not sure if I should go for the white band on the SS or the black band now, wow.

Also anyone know if they can add gift cards during the processing stage?

I originally wanted the SG 42 Sport as I only wanted to get the base model with the idea of upgrading. I got a launch day and couldn't pass up the opportunity to double my money and in return ordered the SS w/ BSB with the proceeds. After much thinking I really like the stainless and all the other options and the sapphire is hands down better than the ion-x glass.

I have previous watches with glass faces and they have scratched. I already know that stainless can scuff and it doesn't bother me a bit, thats just stainless. To me, its a much better look that aluminum.

Gotta just decide if you want quality > cost?

Uh yeah no comparison
