Hey All,

Tomorrow or the day after, depending on slow UPS is, I am getting my very first iPhone ever.
I was a hard Android user for long years and finally decided to switch, after getting a Macbook instead of a Windows laptop.

Now, if you were in my position, would you use the transfer data app from Android for automatic transfer to iPhone, or would you start fresh. Keep in mind, I'll be uploading the pics and videos to the cloud on an Android device prior to doing anything, so I won't be transferring pics.

I have never transferred from android to ios, so I am not sure if it will make a mess?

I am looking for a good way to transfer my text massages. "Move to iOS" only transferred the other persons texts in the conversation, leaving mine out. I called ATT, they said this is a known issue. I called apple they said try a second time, after that they can't help as it is a known issue. Let me know if you find a good way to transfer texts from android to iPhone!

I did the same and now glad I made the switch. You can’t transfer apps from Android. You’ll have to install them from scratch the first time

Personally I would do it. If for some reason you don't like how it turns out it is very easy to erase all content and settings to start over.
