Wouldn't it be cool if Apple leaked parts as a big smoke screen and actually brought out some new phone. Bigger screen and all. Then at the event mock the leaks and pre announcement hype? I'm sure the 5S will be just what we expect but that really would be cool if they played it like that.

Tim doubled-down on secrecy, we are getting the iPhone 6 and no pictures of what it looks like have leaked at all.

Can but dream :D

Sidenote: HOPE it's streamed :apple:

Today we are getting the iPhone 5S and the 5C. Get used to that. End of thread :)

I know but wouldn't it be nice if they actually kept the new stuff secret and set up some elaborate front. Making some fake iphones wouldn't be hard for them.

That would be too good to be true.

It would be great, but reality looks different, as we will all find out in less than two hours.

It would have been awesome, especially the bigger screen.

Very bad idea. People want an iPhone, and not an iPhablet.

So the Moto X and the HTC One Mini are phablets now?

Moto X: 129.3 x 65.3 x 10.4 mm (5.09 x 2.57 x 0.41 in)

HTC One Mini: 132 x 63.2 x 9.3 mm (5.20 x 2.49 x 0.37 in)

iPhone 5: 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6 mm (4.87 x 2.31 x 0.30 in)

So by your logic I guess that makes the iPhone 5 a mini-phablet then.

Thanks for clarifying that.

You misunderstood my logic. I was talking about the android phablets.

I realize that.

My point was that you wouldn't call the Moto X or HTC One Mini phablets, so why reference the larger android phablets whenever someone brings up their desire for a larger iPhone when we can see by these phones that making a larger screen iPhone doesn't mean it suddenly becomes a phablet.

A larger screen iPhone is easily doable by Apple without getting anywhere near phablet size territory.

Thanks for explaining it so clearly. These fanboys just don't get it. They just act like robots repeating the same nonsense over and over again.

a 5"-5.5" screen would be nice. The S4 is about right. Maybe a little big but still. The reality is, that's where it's going, at some point!
