i dont know, watched a lot iphone 5 drop test videos, thought that it is awesome resistance but when i dropped iphone on the floor by accident from about 15cm height, baam shattered screen. Ofc build quality is way better than galaxy s3+s4.
At the moment having iphone 5 and galaxy s4. Still my beloved iphone5 pwns galaxy s4 in all categories maybe instead gimmick features

Ye it doesn't usually perform this well in drop tests. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it being drove over by a SUV
Dropping the phone ten times without a break is no more evidence of superb build quality than is dropping the phone once from a low height and it breaking is evidence of poor build quality.
FACT!!! Its all about the angle that the iphone hits the ground. While the build is good dropping it the wrong way will crack the screen.
One thing I want to point out is the ground is asphalt, not cement, asphalt is softer than cement.
